Applications
Doramectin is indicated for the treatment and control of gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms, eyeworms, grubs (cattle), lice, and mange mites in cattle and swine. It is administered as a subcutaneous or intramuscular injection at 200 mcg/kg body weight, with a single dose providing extended protection due to sustained tissue concentrations. In cattle, it also controls Hypoderma larvae (warbles) and Dermatobia hominis. Doramectin is not approved for use in dairy cattle of breeding age in most markets due to withdrawal period considerations.
